The Knowledge Café on "How an Integrated Approach to Migration, Sustainable Reintegration and Development Can Accelerate the 2030 Agenda" focused on how practitioners can integrate migration into their work from an integrated policy perspective.
This course on the Reintegration Handbook is divided into 5 modules. It targets all reintegration practitioners, from project developers, reintegration staff, M&E officers and case workers, to governmental officials and civil society stakeholders.
During the two-day event, government representatives from Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia as well as representatives of the EU and IOM experts discussed the link between safe return, sustainable reintegration and sustainable development and ways to strengthen return and reintegration policies in North Africa.
The new training curricula provide return and reintegration practitioners and stakeholders with ready-to-use materials to organize and deliver training sessions for actors in the field of migrant return and reintegration.

The EU-IOM Joint Initiative for Migrant Protection and Reintegration organized a three-day media training for journalists from across the North Africa region to enhance informed migration reporting, with a main focus on return and reintegration.
The materials produced include short videos of migrant stories, a podcast series facilitating dialogue and exchanges among experts and practitioners, and capacity development videos, particularly suited for training activities.
