The event presented the pilot scheme for assisted voluntary medical return from France to Georgia, funded by the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII). This initiativeaims to support the return and reintegration of Georgians from France who are eligible for the OFII’s assisted voluntary return programme and whose state of health requires medical assistance during the journey and/or medical follow-up after their return to Georgia.

The webinar allowed for an active exchange between representatives from the OFII, IOM and partners, who shared lessons from the implementation of this pilot initiative and similar practices carried out in other geographical contexts.

It took place on Zoom with simultaneous interpretation in English and French. At the end, a Q&A session allowed for meaningful exchanges with participants.
