This report constitutes the third thematic report on reintegration assistance under the EU-IOM Joint Initiative for Migrant Protection and Reintegration in the Sahel and Lake Chad region.

The first report, published in March 2019, described the approach established for reintegration assistance under the EU-IOM Joint Initiative, as well as the main results of the reintegration pillar of the programme from the start of the programme (April 2017) until January 2019. 

The second issue, published in November 2019 and covering the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 July 2019, provided an update on the results achieved and presented initial findings from the monitoring exercises conducted by IOM and its partners. 

This third issue covering the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 January 2020, reports on results of the different types of partnerships, the evolution of previously reported community-based reintegration projects and mainstreaming of psychosocial support in the reintegration process. The report also provides first indications on the sustainability of the reintegration assistance through a scoring model.
