The closing event of the IOM ORION (Operationalising an Integrated Approach to Reintegration) project is will take place on Thursday 26 November a 2:30pm Geneva time (CET).

This project, funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), has been running since February 2018 and will come to an end in December. Through this project, a global Reintegration Handbook and related training curriculum were developed, a mentoring approach was piloted in Guinea, Morocco and Senegal, a comparative analysis of reintegration outcomes was conducted and cross-regional reintegration workshops were held. All this with the aim of developing tools and evidence base to put an integrated approach to reintegration into practice.

During this webinar, the ORION project team will highlight the key outcomes and lessons learned from the project. This will be done through interventions by several people who were directly involved in the project, including one of the mentors and a returnee who benefitted from the mentoring approach. IOM Director for the Department of Migration Management will provide the opening remarks.

The webinar will be held mainly in French, with English and French live interpretation available. Should you wish to participate in this event, please register here. The ORION project team will then send you a link to access the webinar a few days before the event.
