The closing event of the IOM ORION (Operationalising an Integrated Approach to Reintegration) project took place on 26 November 2020.

This project, funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), has been running since February 2018 and will end in December 2020. Through this project, a global Reintegration Handbook and related training curriculum were developed, a mentoring approach was piloted in Guinea, Morocco and Senegal, a comparative analysis of reintegration outcomes was conducted and cross-regional reintegration workshops were held. All this with the aim of developing tools and evidence base to put an integrated approach to reintegration into practice.

During this webinar, the ORION project team highlighted the key outcomes and lessons learned from the project through interventions by several people who were directly involved in the project, including one of the mentors and a returnee who benefitted from the mentoring approach.
